JetDirect Launches New Subsidiary

JetDirect Airlines has opened a new, wholly-owned subsidary named Aquilia Airlines.
Aquilia Airlines is meant to help jetDirect compete with other low cost carriers including jetBlue and Southwest. Aquilia has a fleet of 717-200's, 737-500 and -700's, and 757-200's.

American Flight Airways opens new Alpha Jet base in Baltimore

American Flight Airways officials have opened the 4th Alpha Jet Base in Baltimore (KBWI).

Alpha Jet is AFA's low cost carrier flying state of the art B737-800 aircraft. Alpha Jet currently operates numerous daily flights to sunny leisure destinations from Flint, MI; Oakland, CA and Tampa, FL and now adds Baltimore, MD to its growing network.

London based FlyReliance has announced major realignment of staff positions within the company. Owen Purday has joined the airline as Director of operations and will be streamlining operations and introducing new hubs and routes to FlyReliance's vast network of flights.

Texas Atlantic Resumes Operations

Donnie Lash, co-founder and CEO of Texas Atlantic Virtual Airlines, announced earlier this week that the airline will resume full service within the next few weeks. Arizona Pacific puts first 737-800s into service

Today the passengers of Arizona Pacific flight 270 (Atlanta/Phoenix) received a surprise when there normal MD80 was replaced by a brand new 737-800.
This aircraft is the first of 20 on order by Arizona Pacific and will replace older MD80s over then next 2 years, the company announced today.

EuroHarmony adds 175 World Cup flights

EuroHarmony has created 174 new temporary flights (from 1 of June to 31 of August) that will inter-connect the final World Cup 2006 countries to the respective stadium destinations.
Also, EuroHarmony has bought 75 new airplanes specially reserved for World Cup 2006 ProPilot flights.
