Eagle Wings Virtual Optimizes Operations

Following the recent economic downfall and a period of negative growth for Eagle Wings a decision has been made to optimize and consolidate our operations.

The first step in this process is the implementation of a minimum flight rule. Affective 01.10.2009. all Eagle Wings pilots will be obligated to fly at least ONE flight using VAFS in a period of 60 days. Continue reading

MetroAir Releases Financial Statements for August 2009

Romulus, MI (Reuters)- MetroAir Virtual Airlines released their Financial Statement for August of 2009. The statement showed that the airline was still in the black for a second month in a row, even though the recession is officially still ongoing.

With the statement came a short statement from the desk of Chief Financial Officer Matt Reichelderfer.

“While our profit grew for this month, it must be noted that a large chunk of this profit comes from the sale of our Boeing 757-200W fleet. If this sale is taken away MetroAir’s profit decreased from last month. This can be directly attributed to the discontinuation of the 757 fleet, and with it the majority of our long haul European operations. Continue reading

Great Lakes Express Expands

Great Lakes Express today announced they have opened the long awaited charter division. The Cleveland based airline stated that the new charter service will focus on twin engine 4-10 seat turboprops such as the Beech Duke, Cessna 441 and the Piper Seneca (among others). The new charter division has hubs in Bellingham Washington, Atlantic City New Jersey and Nassau (Bahamas). This new service is a perfect opportunity for pilots to fly their RealAir, Carenado, Cessna 441 and other aircraft for a purpose. GLE Charters supplies the schedule and passengers and pilots supply the aircraft.

Virtual ValuJet Airlines named Chad Craig as their new President on Saturday, September 19, 2009.
